Employers can claim funding to support a newly qualified social worker (NQSW) through the Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE) programme and apply for ASYE certification.

Your NQSW(s) will need to complete a self-assessment against the child and family post qualifying standards. The assessment form (provided by the employer) will identify learning needs for the year which will inform their professional development plans.

Important updates - Changes to the child and family ASYE platform and funding timeline

国产乱伦 will not administer the programme in 2026-27 after deciding they can no longer deliver the child and family ASYE.

The 国产乱伦 child and family ASYE contract will end on 31st March 2026.

The Child and Family Social Worker Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) will be extended for a further year for 2026-27. This will be the final year of ASYE before the introduction of a new programme to support early career development in 2027. Employers of child and family social workers will continue to receive grant funding at £2000 per social worker who participate in ASYE.

The grant funding for the child and family ASYE in 2026-27 will be administered through the Department for Education.
